Let us be your guide throughout pregnancy, labor/birth, and postpartum recovery. It is our mission to help women feel empowered and confident throughout such a transformational time.
And who better to learn from than a pelvic floor specialist and birth doula? We spend our days helping people just like you prepare for birth, we attend births, and we help people navigate postpartum recovery. We would be honored to be part of your team and help you receive the care you truly deserve.
What do our coaching sessions include?
We start with an hour-long introductory call where we discuss your history, learn your goals, and develop a plan together. This is an amazing opportunity to have uninterrupted time dedicated to answering questions about ANYTHING related to pelvic health, pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
We come to you with the latest evidence-based teaching, and you’ll leave each session with tangible skills and movements to practice. We aim to provide you with the confidence you need to navigate pregnancy, enter your birthing space empowered, and tackle postpartum healing with a plan.
Following our initial call, we will schedule follow-up sessions as needed.
These sessions are tailored to your needs & concerns and can include:
Getting in touch with your core & pelvic floor during pregnancy (Kegels are probably NOT what you should be doing!)
How to continue exercising in ways you love throughout pregnancy
Managing common pregnancy aches and pains
Preparing your pelvic floor for birth
How to move throughout labor to optimize space in your pelvis
Perineal massage
Getting in touch with your core & pelvic floor postpartum (Kegels are STILL probably NOT what you should be doing!)
Early postpartum healing and recovery
Scar massage
Rebuilding core & pelvic floor strength & coordination
Postpartum return to exercise
You can schedule your sessions during pregnancy AND postpartum!
Please note, that although we are licensed and registered occupational therapists, these virtual offerings are NOT occupational therapy services. This is not a substitute for medical or therapeutic advice. We cannot evaluate, diagnose, or treat you unless you are a resident of the state of Colorado. We are always happy to help you find a licensed therapist in your area if necessary.
How does it work?
STEP 1: If you are ready, request an appointment.
STEP 2: Once scheduled, we will send you an intake form to understand your needs & goals.
STEP 3: Sit back and relax. We will send a link to your consultation at least 24 hours before the meeting.
