What is pelvic floor therapy?
Pelvic floor therapy is specialized treatment provided by licensed occupational and physical therapists. It is a highly individualized service, based on your symptoms, needs, and goals. We often address pain, muscle imbalance, and dysfunction in the pelvic floor muscles. Your pelvic floor function goes beyond just your pelvic floor muscles, as it is deeply interconnected with your mental health, routines, nervous system, and so much more. As occupational therapists, we take a holistic approach to address all the components of your health and wellness. Our goal is to help you participate in meaningful daily activities without worrying about painful or uncomfortable symptoms.
“Jenny is AMAZING! I was skeptical that she would be able to help me with an ongoing issue I've had for years but within 4 sessions, I was symptom free. She is a true professional who deeply cares and is passionate about the work she does. I always feel seen and heard by her and comfortable in her presence.” K.L.
