Dr. Jenny Naylor, OTD, OTR/L

Jenny is a doctor of occupational therapy and has specialized in perinatal pelvic health since she was a student. Jenny studied exercise science at Metropolitan State University of Denver and completed her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Creighton University in their distance pathway at Regis University in Denver.

Before going to OT school, Jenny felt passionate about pelvic health and made it a goal to pursue this area of practice both during and after school. She noticed a theme amongst people she worked with of little attention given to long-term effects of pregnancy, childbirth, and trauma on the pelvic floor by the traditional medical team. She completed her doctorate internship at OWN Your Pelvic Health and Swedish Hospital with the goal of improving health literacy around pelvic health and increasing accessibility of pelvic floor services. She assisted in developing a program at Swedish Hospital for pelvic floor education and services to be offered in the labor and delivery unit in order to empower newly postpartum people to understand their healing and be supported throughout.

Jenny has pursued extra education and training in treatment of the pelvic floor both in the general and birthing populations. She loves to be a part of people's healing journeys and support them as they transition into the roles and demands of parenthood in all ways. Through a mental-health and trauma-informed lens, she approaches each client with their needs at the forefront of treatment to provide impactful and unique services. As an occupational therapist, she wants you to know that your everyday life and what is meaningful to you is her top priority throughout therapy.

When Jenny is not in the clinic or continuing her understanding of pelvic health, she is usually outside hiking, camping, paddleboarding, reading, or enjoying time with family and friends. She has many cats and a husband whom she loves to spend her days with soaking in everything Colorado has to offer.
