Jenny Kramer
Jenny Kramer is a mother of two and a Postpartum Doula trained by DONA International. Before the birth of her first child, she felt well-equipped and confident in her upcoming role as a parent. She believed that her transition into motherhood would align with what she had always imagined. Although caring for her baby came naturally, she still found herself overwhelmed. From a difficult recovery to nursing challenges and sleep deprivation, everything was so much harder than she had thought it would be. Even with the loving support of family and friends, she still felt blindsided by her new reality. Sadly, at that time she had no idea that postpartum doulas existed. At this point, she made it her personal mission to help support and educate friends and family members who became parents after her. In that way, she’s been working as a doula ever since.
Jenny has always loved helping those around her - caring for friends and family when they are sick, cooking comforting and nourishing food, or simply just being there for them when they needed someone to listen. She has been helping care for babies and children since she was very young, working as a babysitter and camp counselor. As an adult, it was always a joy for her to be able to help her friends care for their babies, long before it was her profession.
She’s here to provide support that embraces the beautiful diversity within families, acknowledging their unique backgrounds, cultures and traditions. Her goal is to create an inclusive space where every family feels welcomed, valued for who they are, and empowered to continue caring for their family after she has left their home.
Jenny’s family recently embarked on a journey of their own, moving from New York to Colorado. When she’s not working, she enjoys taking advantage of everything their new home here in Denver has to offer. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, cooking together, going to see live music, and exploring their new city.
"I can’t say enough words to praise Jenny! She is a natural and makes you feel so at ease, which was exactly what I needed for that stressful and uncertain time. For both my first and second child, Jenny knew the support I needed during early postpartum months. I felt instantly more relaxed having her around. Anyone would be lucky to have Jenny supporting them!" -Holly
"As a new father I can't express how great it was to have RMPC by my side. Jenny provided invaluable support after the arrival of our son. From the moment we met Jenny, her warmth and expertise immediately put us at ease. As a first-time father, I was navigating uncharted waters, but Jenny's guidance and encouragement were instrumental in helping me feel confident and prepared every step of the way. Jenny was paramount in weeding through the "old wives tales" and countless conflicting sources on the internet. Someone knowledgeable, authentic and caring who you can rely on during this adventure is priceless." -Ryan
